Richmond
Our Richmond service area covers the northern East Bay. That includes Berkeley and the surrounding communities. We staff a crew here. We reach most addresses within about 60 minutes.
East Bay Coverage
The East Bay has older Victorian and Craftsman homes, hillside properties, and dense apartment buildings. Each one has its own risks. Older homes hide aging pipes and outdated drainage. There are no basements, so a leak spreads sideways under the flooring instead of pooling somewhere you can see it. Fremont gets water from the Alameda County Water District and sewer service from Union Sanitary District.

Newark
Newark shares a sewer district with Fremont and Union City. Under Union Sanitary District Ordinance No. 34, you own the sewer lateral from your house to the public main. That includes the section buried under the sidewalk and the street. USD will inspect the public main at no charge. Call them at (510) 477-7500 any hour. We work citywide in the 94560 zip code.
Union City
Union City is served by the same district, so the same lateral rule applies. USD maintains 839 miles of public sewer main under local streets and easements. Anything between your house and that main belongs to you. We work citywide in the 94587 zip code.
Milpitas
Milpitas splits the pipe at your property line. The House Sewer runs from the building to the line, and it is yours. The House Lateral runs from the line to the main in the street, and it is the public side. You are still responsible for clearing stoppages in both. Much of the city went up in the 1950s and 1960s on slab or over crawlspace. We work citywide in the 95035 zip code.
Hayward
We run all four service lines in Hayward and dispatch from our Fremont office. Most Hayward addresses see a crew within 60 minutes. Inspections are free and we answer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
